Broadcast: NDR’s magazine “Panorama” interviews Ella

Texts, images and music were once the domain of human creativity. What happens when these are automated and mass-produced by AI? Are artistic professions in danger? The NDR magazine “Panorama” deals with these questions in its broadcast on June 22, 2023. 

For this story, the team of “Panorama” interviewed several AI artists, scientists and experts – including our CEO Michael Keusgen. For this purpose, the Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) visited Ella in Cologne and Berlin.

In this report, we talk about current developments and trends in generative AI. Focusing on the responsibility that comes with the development and use of AI, we emphasize our commitment to AI tools that guarantee quality criteria and ethical standards. 

“Panorama” was the first German political magazine, going on air on June 4, 1961. Today, it is one of the most successful political magazines on German television. It is dedicated to current and controversial topics of our time – such as the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and its consequences.
