Loic Bertoli studied law at Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg and then completed a degree in political science at Université Sorbonne-Panthéon in Paris. During his studies, he participated in a university exchange programme with Canada, the Université du Québec à Montréal. His results enabled him to complete a Master’s degree in international relations.
Loic was then in charge of international economic relations for the promotion of foreign trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg and, after a short time, became Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion.
He was also a member of the Advisory Committee on Foreign Trade and the Luxembourg Council for Economic Development. He represented the Ministry of Economy in the Luxembourg Real Estate Company of the Exhibition Parks (owner of the Luxembourg Trade Fairs Center).
He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Agency for Development Aid and the Luxembourg Agency for the Transfer of Financial Technology (ATTF).
Loic became Deputy Chief of Mission at the Luxembourg Embassy in Beijing and Abu Dhabi, Executive Director of the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office in the Gulf Region and also Deputy Commissioner for Luxembourg at Expo 2020 Dubai.
